Cannaregs makes it easy to keep up with the deeply confusing world of regulations pertaining to legal cannabis in one, easy-to-use database. It’s essential to always have the most up to day information at one’s hands for immediate use. Sure, we all have computers and can do our own research pertaining to the regulatory requirements of any given state. But what Cannaregs does that sets it in front of the competition, is are the words known as real time. Where the other players in the marketplace may rely upon outdated or incomplete systems for gathering information, it’s encouraging to know that Cannaregs is constantly updated and crisp with the correct information, the first time, every time.

WB: Where are you from? What brought you to where you are now? When did you first discover cannabis? How old were you?

AO: I am from Glastonbury, CT. CannaRegs brought me to where I am now and I first discovered cannabis when I was 28.

WB: Where do you see yourself in six months? A year?

AO: I see myself out fundraising! I have massive growth plans for this company.

WB: Tell me about your company. What do you do that is different and therefore intriguing? What sets you apart from your peers?

AO: CannaRegs is a web-based subscription service for those in the cannabis industry and their advisors. We provide enhanced access to all cannabis-related rules and regulations from state, county, municipal and federal sources, and aggregates these rules and regulations in an intuitive, easy-to-use database. By organizing the laws into distinct categories (such as taxation, zoning, application & licensing, and packaging & labeling) and sorting them by license type (such as cultivation, dispensary and testing), subscribers can find and use the information they need in a few easy clicks. CannaRegs continuously monitors jurisdictions for any revisions to the laws, so CannaRegs subscribers are always up-to-date on any changes.

WB: What is your favorite kind of food? Do you have a favorite restaurant? Do you cook? Who taught you?

AO: I love trying new flavors, newness and new experiences. SF has such a great food scene and can’t pick just one. I love Mama J’s though. At home I cook! Among my friends I am usually the cook, friends used to bring me ingredients and ask to cook for them. I really learned to cook from mom and grandma, I also dated a chef, we are still friends and he taught me a lot about technique. I am the grill master for the 4th of July and Thanksgiving. People would say I am a loud Jewish woman who can cook!

WB: If you could be anywhere in the world right now where would that be? Doing what? With whom?

AO: If I could be anywhere now I would be in Japan and Asia and spend 2 months, eating my way through countries, checking out the beaches, scuba diving, paddle boarding. I would take my best friend, Jessica.
