Awareness is the ability to recognize and understand personal moods, emotions and drives and their effects on others. Individuals with high awareness are able to channel their energy confidently so that successful results will happen. To impactfully connect, communicate and understand others there is an initial need to develop the level of awareness that allows us to be clear on our feelings, thinking process and judgments. We can not understand others to a higher standard than we understand ourselves. We can not connect with others to a higher level than we are connected within ourselves. We can not positively impact and influence others to higher levels than the level of development within ourselves of the trace, pattern or idea that we are trying to spread around. Leadership is built by self-awareness. It is by getting ready ourselves and chiseling our best version that we manage to radiate our influence around.
Closely following the awareness in the ladder of personal development we encounter willpower. It is not enough to come face to face with ourselves. Diagnosis often requires a quick response to remove, reconstruct or heal what does not work correctly. But changes in routines and patterns take a lot of effort, determination, endurance, time and self-promotion. Every time of the year is good to set up a new beginning understood as the voluntary start of a new phase but a new year represents the model of an ideal one when our hopes and wishes come together and make us feel optimistic and ready for all future good.
It is now the perfect time to charge your batteries, and take advantage of some useful tips to grow on self-awareness and set up your leadership goals for 2019!
1. Start by testing your leadership levels
Get a new full picture of yourself and be open to embracing the novelties. Last year evaluation of your leadership traces is not applicable to the new year is now coming. Once you have set your year goals, choose the two particular patterns that would help your aims to be achieved and work on a month-plan of action plans that will help you strengthen these two habits. Choose wisely and invest your time in a way that entertainment and development balance well one to each other.
8. Find one voluntary activity you will collaborate with.

While serving others, you better will get a clear perspective of the world, where there are people in need, and you are not the center of the universe. Being able to empathize and putting your talents altruistically at the service of society is a core for the nourishment of every positive leader. Additionally, you grow a network of other engaged beings and boost your self-confidence and teamwork and management skills.
9. Define a simple leadership strategy for those you are responsible at.
Great leaders care. They care about others, and they learn and rise by lifting others. Whether if your circle of influence is very big or very small, as a leader, you will always have other people dependent on you. Devoting time to analyze how can they also boost the best versions of themselves will not just work positively for them but help you to better shape the leader in you.
10. Plan your leisure breaks over the year in a meaningful way.
Filling your leisure time purposely is vital to ensure self-development and emotional, physical and material wellness. The difference between people and successful people is defined by the activities that they perform in their free time. Positive leaders chose to rest while growing. Plan your year accordingly and make sure to find the proper balance between you and the world.
